Our Resmile Recycling Program

How does it work?

Simply drop off your old toothbrushes, empty toothpastes and used floss into a Resmile bin at one of our 5 d-spa clinics, where they’ll get sorted, separated, cleaned and reused to make new products.

Dsmile have also created a reusable and biodegradable Resmile pouch for storing and returning your used dental products. Come pick up your pouch at your next appointment.

Our circular recycling program works in 4 simple steps:

1. Return = Pop your old toothbrushes, empty toothpastes and used floss into your Re:smile pouch
2. Drop = Deposit your products in a Re:smile bin at your nearest d-spa clinic
3. Collect = Dsmile will organise pick-up for processing
4. Reuse = The plastics and glass are separated, cleaned and reused to make new products.

Why is this needed?

Did you know that over 30 million toothbrushes are thrown away in Australia each year. Most can’t be curbside recycled and end up in landfill, where they can take up to 500 years or more to break down.

This program will supplement the many other environmental initiatives we have implemented here at d-spa. We’re so proud to be a part of the Resmile Recycling Program, to do our part for the environment and make the world a better and greener place.
